Booking Policies and Guest Responsibilities for The Bear Paw Cabin

Welcome to The Bear Paw Cabin. By booking or staying at the property, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Booking & Payment
All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation. Payment terms, cancellation policies, and refund rules are governed by the booking platform (Hostaway) and the cancellation policy selected at the time of booking.
Full payment must be received prior to check-in unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Occupancy Limits
The Bear Paw Cabin accommodates a maximum of 6 guests.
Exceeding the stated occupancy limit may result in:
• Immediate termination of the stay
• Additional charges
• Forfeiture of security deposit
No parties or events are permitted.

3. Pet Policy
The Bear Paw Cabin is pet friendly.
A maximum of two (2) pets are permitted per stay. A non-refundable pet fee of $50 per pet applies.
Guests bringing pets agree to:
• Keep pets supervised at all times
• Clean up after pets
• Prevent pets from damaging furniture or property
Guests are financially responsible for any pet-related damages or excessive cleaning required.

4. Property Use & Outdoor Areas
The cabin sits on private acreage with a natural stream located behind the property.
Guests acknowledge:
• The stream is a natural body of water and may present slipping, tripping, or drowning hazards.
• Children must be supervised at all times near the stream.
• The property includes uneven terrain and wooded areas.
• Guests assume all risk associated with use of outdoor areas.

5. Fire Pit Use
The outdoor fire pit is available for guest use.
Guests agree to:
• Follow all local fire safety regulations
• Never leave a fire unattended
• Fully extinguish fires after use
Use of the fire pit is at the guest’s own risk.

6. Check-In & Check-Out
Guests agree to follow provided check-in and check-out instructions.
Failure to depart by the designated check-out time may result in additional charges.

7. Damage & Responsibility
Guests are responsible for:
• Any damage caused during their stay
• Missing items
• Excessive cleaning beyond normal wear and tear
We reserve the right to charge the card on file for damages or violations of these terms.

8. Liability Disclaimer
Guests acknowledge that:
• The property is located in a natural wooded environment.
• Wildlife, uneven terrain, weather conditions, and natural elements may be present.
• Use of the cabin and property is at the guest’s own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Bear Paw Cabin and its owners shall not be liable for:
• Personal injury
• Loss of personal belongings
• Accidents occurring on the property
Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless the property owner from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from use of the property.
